One of the things the Lord impressed upon my heart is Jer.6:16 where God requires that I "ask for the old ways."  Not in the sense of Him repeating what He has done before, but rather to consider the "goldsmiths" and the "perfume makers."  Those men who have acquired the art of taking unlikely lumps of gold and making beautiful gems with them; of the men of wisdom who see different attributes in individuals and causing them to gel...so they can become powerful teams that would become as a sweet savour unto God.  It is just Him saying to seek out older men who have walked this journey and do not discard them for all the want of new ideology. I am also supposed to learn this great art of the goldsmith and perfume maker.

This is something we need to see released in our Body.  I'm sure we do not lack goldsmiths or perfume-makers in our Body.  It is also amazing to note that when Nehemiah wanted to rebuild the "old gates" among the people who were chosen were Uzziel and Hananiah, one a goldsmith and the other a perfume maker (Neh.3:8)

Don't we see the great need to bring shape and symmetry to young lumps of gold?  And isn't there a mixture of the right perfume which we should take from the individuals of 'myrrh', 'frankincense,' etc., and conclude, "And it seemed good to the Holy Ghost AND US..." and so teams that can function well would do so?
