Youth Camp 2009

It is difficult to describe all that God accomplished in the lives of the young people at last year’s camp. Lasting changes in lives have led to drastic impacts in our youth groups. On Wednesday evening last year students and leaders alike began to hear a sound coming from heaven. Independently, many young people began to approach us, “Do you hear that?” The hosts of heaven were announcing the destiny of this revival generation. Seeds of destiny and transformation occur each year as we go higher and deeper into the presence of God.

Watch this generation. As they link arms with older generations and stand on our shoulders, we will see His kingdom come on earth, even as it is being done in heaven. We are seeing a revival anointing stirred inside the hearts of our young people.

Dates and Check In:  The ICLC regional youth camp will take place at Camp Windermere, located in Roach, MO on Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26. Check in time on Monday will begin at 2:00 p.m. and check out time will be on Friday by 10:30 a.m.

Location:  Camp Windermere is located off the shores of the Lake of the Ozarks. Campers will be able to experience, first hand, the beauty of God's creation in the tranquil setting of Windermere's wooded hills, wildlife and shoreline framing a peaceful lake. Our cabins and conference center are located near the pool and within eye’s view of the lake.

Activities:  Exciting activities, competitions, and group interactions create opportunities to build life-long relationships that will carry on through service in the His kingdom. Everyone is able to have time on canoes, water bikes, water inflatables, the swimming pool, and other activities. Our own competitions and late-night activities are creative outlets for fun and fellowship.

Who Can Attend?  Campers who have completed the sixth grade are invited to attend youth camp. Previously, we asked that campers have completed the seventh grade. Graduating seniors are very welcome to attend. Many times God speaks to students concerning their next steps in life. College students who desire to attend should consult primary youth leaders to see if help is needed.

Cost:  The cost of youth camp is $210 which includes the cost of lodging, eleven meals, and activities. To help plan and budget, an early-bird discount is provided for campers who register by May 15 and turn in a $50 deposit. All remaining fees and forms are due by June 1. A late fee of $20 will be assessed to campers who turn in forms after the June 1 deadline.

Forms and Releases:  There are three forms that should be completed as part of registration. They are the registration form, ICLC release form, and Windermere release form. Your church may require additional paperwork. These forms can be downloaded.

Counselors:  Counselors are asked to complete a counselor registration form and pay $170 by June 1. We also require that any counselor who has not participated in the ICLC regional camp before to please have your pastor submit the provided “Counselor Recommendation” form. Please provide at least one counselor for every seven campers.

More Information?  We are looking forward to what God will speak and impart in this year’s camp. If you have any questions, please contact Chris Belyeu or Rhonda Gaines at the ICLC office, (405)273-5331.
